We are running a tight schedule so please please be prompt for all appointments to avoid disappointment of being turned away ! Also the quality and look of my nail bed after using the buff was incredible — sometimes I like to leave my nails bare for a few days and this really makes them look amazing. I really try to push out going to the salon for paid manicures as long as possible because I'm really only paying for the cuticle clean up and shaping — the painting I can do myself, but this tool solves that.

You can use this on the high or low speed setting, but I found it was easy to get the almond shape I wanted on the low speed. I love thatit is cordless so I can use it on the couch while watching TV, and the built in LED light is handy too. The smooth attachment got rid of ridges in my nails, and the buff attachment made my newly smoothed nails so shiny. Buff and Shine: Just like the name suggests, this fluffy tip buffs unpolished nails and leaves behind a natural-looking shine. I used this on high speed as the finishing step in my DIY Russian manicure and was really impressed with the sheen it gave me bare nails. Your therapist will come to the door once ready if you would be polite enough to just wait outside we would appreciate that. Grind and Smooth: The brand recommends you use this grinding tip on low speed, and I can see why. It's powerful enough to remove gel nail polish, but I just used it to gently smooth the ridges from my nail bed.Nothing brings a look together quite like a manicure or pedicure. But, unfortunately, we know all too well that semi-frequent salon mani-pedis are expensive, impractical, and frankly unsustainable. I have struggled with being able to shape my nails myself and end up filing them into oblivion, but this makes it easy to be precise the first time!
